In all my years as a technology writer, I have been at the front of the line for every brand’s biggest release. When the first iPhone came out, I was in line at the Apple Store with a cooler of beer, a neck pillow, and a restraining order from my ex-girlfriend who was NOT working the Genius Bar that day. Years later, I got to review the first ever Google Pixel, an Android titan that was so sleek I forgot Google was poaching my data and sending me targeted ads for leather underwear for several months. Needless to say, I’ve used every phone under the sun.

But this year, one smartphone in particular has intrigued me more than any other. The new Samsung Galaxy SR4 Plus releases at the end of this year and it is quite the spectacle. The most stunning feature of the Galaxy SR4 Plus is its full-sized Nikon D6 DSLR camera and 80mm lens fastened to the front of the phone, to take your everyday photography to the next level.

With such extensive features, the SR4 Plus has a battery life of 32 minutes, and requires an external hard drive to properly store and render your high definition images. If you’re worried about lugging a big hard drive around, it can be attached directly underneath your phone for maximum storage. All of the features of the Nikon D6 can be accessed through the SR4 Plus’s stunning LED touchscreen. In addition to the hardware specs, the SR4 Plus comes equipped with the latest in AI technology, which can only be toggled from the SR4 Plus Smartwatch (retail: $900) for seamless integration. (The AI knew my name before I even entered it into the phone, which is a detail that I couldn’t forget to add)

For years, Samsung has been leading the market in cutting-edge smartphone technology. While some reviews have stated that the phone has “exploded” and “melted when turned on,” I firmly believe the Galaxy SR4 Plus is still a perfect example of Samsung’s commitment to quality and their mission to challenge the status quo. If you’re an innovator, a disruptor, or a creator, this phone is for you. The Galaxy SR4 Plus retails for $10,670, hard drive not included, and has an overall weight just under 5 pounds.

(If you’re looking for a more affordable, pocket-sized option, you can also purchase the Samsung S4 Flip which has zero features and a 2003 version of Tetris ready to go at unboxing. The SR4 Flip retails for $12.)
